Arrival and Departure

Campers will be assigned an arrival time for Thursday Sept 11th to help with the flow of traffic –
When you turn in to the camp’s driveway, there will be counselors who will come to your window to check you in (like In ‘n Out drive thru!) so you won’t have to get out of your car.

At Check-in you will:

  • Check in with your name
  • Sign the camp’s lake waiver
  • Show the counselor your photo of your covid test. Must show your face and have been taken no more than 24 hrs from arrival at camp
  • Pick up your welcome bag (and linen set if you ordered one)
  • Get your cabin assignment

There will be 3 assigned check-in times and campers will receive their exact time at least 1 week before camp.
The time frame will be between noon-3pm.

Pack up and pack out Sunday Sept 14th by noon-

Check out is at noon.

If you have to arrive a little late or leave a little earlier, please let us know in advance to coordinate your check-in or any other info.

During Camp some activities will be off site, those who sign up can organize carpooling with their group and leader. If you decide to do some exploring outside of camp, we’d love to encourage you to consider inviting others to join you.

Covid Policy

Campers will need to test for COVID no more than 24 hours before arriving to Camp (yes, even if you don’t feel sick or don’t think you’ve been around anyone who’s been sick).

You will show a photo of your results to the counselor at check-in.

Who? How Many People?

There are several group cabins that each sleep 10 people. Each group cabin has 1 large room with 10 single beds (some may be set up as bunks but everyone gets a bottom bed). Each bed has it’s own cubby space with an electrical outlet to charge your phone, plug in your c-pap and all that good stuff. There are shared bathrooms and showers (both ADA accessible in all cabins). There are also windows that open for some fresh air as well as heating and cooling if we happen to get any unseasonably extreme weather.

Bathrooms & Showers

Each group cabin has a multi toilet stall bathroom and showers for the cabin to share. Don’t worry about being embarrassed if you have tummy troubles. We do too, so you won’t be tootin’ alone!

There are also extra large individual showers and toilets over by the pool house as well as bathrooms in each building.

Heat/Cooling/Weather

September at the coast has a history of being temperate. It’s very common for it to rain any time of the year so be sure to check the weather before packing your bags.

The pool is heated!

Food & Drink

Food & drink is included in the price of Camp!

You can also bring your own food, drink, snacks etc.
BYOB is ok, but just be curtious to other campers, especially your cabin-mates!

Additionally, Lincoln city is just a few minutes away so you can always pop into town for additional noms or pick up something to go.

Alcohol (and other things)

You’re all adults so we’ll leave it to you to make good choices. If you do embibe, you must be of legal age to do so and we ask that you enjoy responsibly and respectfully of the others in the group.

No smoking of any kind is allowed inside the cabins.

Please leave anything that’s not legal at home for this adventure weekend.

Photo/Video Release Policy

Please note that we’ll be taking photos and video clips to document the fun. Beth will generally ask if it’s ok to take photos of people when they are the subject of the photo so you can be ready for the images. We’ll share those images with you and on Chub Hub social media. We may use a few of them for showing off how much damn fun we had and they won’t be used or given out for use by anyone outside Chub Hub and camp sponsors.

Campers will also be able to easily add their own photos to a group album that makes sharing pic super easy (no app or registration needed). Photos will be on display during meals for all to enjoy!

Accessibility Info

This camp is really special. It is the only ADA designed camp in the entire state (and probably further).

After check-in, campers can drive up to their cabin and drop off their stuff before parking their vehicle if needed. All main pathways are paved, every building is wheelchair accessible (except for a couple old buildings we’re not using, still waiting their turn for upgrades). Bathrooms and showers in cabins and buildings are accessible to both mobility devices and those with limited mobility.

There is a lift for the pool but unfortunately the weight limit is only 300 lbs.

Arts & Crafts

The arts & craft area is a common space for people to hang out with others to visit. It tends to be the center of activity especially in the early mornings and late nights. It’ll be in the Main Hall where you can also work on things while other events are happening if you want to be present with others but not actually commit to a full trivia night (or whatever it may be).

There will be some fun artsy crafty things to do. We’ll have a big group puzzle you can work on together, coloring books, pens and markers, drawing paper, stickers along with whatever craft projects you’re working on!

There will also be crafty skill-shares happening at specific times throughout the weekend led by YOU and other campers! Check the Schedule to see what guided craft options are happening and when.

If you’re not ready for bed, join your fellow night-owls at the Night Owl Lounge each evening after the last planned activity happens. Lots of creative goodness, conversations and laughs to be had in those late hours!
